July Already

Well I can't believe another month has gone flying by and with all the toy sales on christmas doesn't seem far away.. way to scary to think about. My new job is going well and I am enjoying it although it is keeping me busy with work everyday. I have some scrapping to share although not much just haven't had the time.

These are some layouts I did at http://fancythatscrapbooking.blogspot.com/ that month. I love the chocolate LO its one of my fav's at the moments it just all come together. The Playsauras LO was done with Sam you can check her out here ://justlovescrappin.blogspot.com/, lots of work in that LO.

These Layouts are ones that I completed for Diva's http://www.scrapbookdivas.com.au/ monthly challenges. Crazy hair was a scraplift of the very talented Mel http://theamsmob.blogspot.com/. The easter LO was a colour challenge, pink, blue and kraft. I really like how the all dressed up LO turned out it was based on a sketch for Rach's challenge tuesday.

Big Share.. Holidays, back to School and Scrapping

I have been on holidays and very busy spending time with DD before back to school.

She is a big tweenies fan and they were playing at the local shopping centre so we went to see the show.

We also have been catching up with friends, we have been to the park and to the movies we have seen bedtime stories.. loved this movie. We also saw hotel for dogs which I hadn't heard much about but was surprised how much I enjoyed it.
We also went to the sunshine coast for a few days to stay with a friend. A great time was had by all, the kids had fun playing together. Enjoyed the beach and I even got some scrapping done. I haven't take photos yet but I will share soon.
We had a BBQ on Sunday for Australia Day with the Family. My cousin was down visiting from NT so was good to catch up. There was plenty of drinking, australia dress and of course sing star. What is a party without sing star.

Today was the first day back to school for Grace. She started Grade 1 she was happy to be in the big school as prep was in a seperate section. She was not overly happy about going back to school this morning, I think she enjoyed holidays too much but I knew she would get back into it. The report this arvo was much more positive, she had a great day and is excited about 2moro. Here is a couple of pics.

Last but not least some scrapping. There is a Australia Day weekend challenge happening over at http://www.scrapbookdivas.com.au/. The first challenge is to use the title of an australian classic song in the title, some green and gold and journalling. This is my take on the challenge

The 2nd challenge was a letter challenge... everything starting with A. I used Angel as my title,Apricot C/S, Alpha blocks paper, American Craft thickers and Elements, Acrylic Stamping on letters and Angel Wings.

I haven't done the third challenge yet, but hope to get it done before the deadline 2moro night. I also have some more LO's I need to photograph and share.

Hope all of you that had little ones off to school, it all went smoothly.
